I am aiming for release during July or August 2017.

Procedural Planets is an asset for Unity 3D that will allow you to spawn randomly generated planets during runtime with next to no footprint in terms of size of your game distributable. Close to 100 parameters control the look of a planet and you can let chance totally determine the random look of your planets or you can override certain parameters. You can also fully control every parameter to design planets with custom atmospheres, clouds, craters, water levels, biome coverage, molten lava and more. Parameters can be animated in realtime to effectively transform and terraform planets in front of your very eyes.

A stand-alone editor will also be released to generate and render 2D graphic images that can be used in games, in media, magazines, school projects, or wherever you may need custom planet images.
