Track DescriptionThis is an extended club edit of Duplicate My Soul featuring 7 minutes and 30 seconds of pounding trance without breakdowns.DetailsThe Extended Club Edit of Duplicate My Soul was created with the intention of being "DJ-friendly". It features an beat intro of roughly a minute and a slowly progressing lead that builds up and with a climax at 2 min 43 seconds into the track with the main chorus / melody. Leads and pads were also changed from the original version for some variation and the duration of the track extended to 7 minutes and 30 seconds in total. Break downs were also avoided in the track due as requested by many! As the track started it ends with a beating outro ready to be mixed with something else on the floor. As I've mentioned before Imphenzia tracks were never created with a dance floor in mind and I don't know a great deal of how such tracks should be constructed so any feedback or hints on this from those of you who do mix tracks would be most appreciated.I should probably spend some more time listening to floormixes research a bit more of what is spun in the clubs. Although I like airy trance (what many considered to be the downfall or destruction) such as Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, System F, etc. I have a feeling that harder trance is much better in the clubs as those break downs are much more suitable for "easy listening" of trance. I personally love break downs when I listen to trance music in my headphones while programming or doing design work - but on the floor? I'd say less so. |
