Track DescriptionVery energetic and melodic uplifting trance track featuring a dramatic and emotional intro followed by a solid bass filled beat with detuned leads and eupohoric piano melodies.DetailsThis epic journey of sound, if I may say so myself, is one of the tracks I'm most pleased with myself so far. The main source of inspiration for Duplicate My Sould is our soon to be born first child, a little baby boy, due in March 2010 which also explains the name of the track. Duplicate My Soul was created in Steinbergs Cubase 5 and most of the pads and leads are from the awesome ReFx VST instrument Nexus2 with the expansions "Psytrance", "Omnicron 2", "Dance 2", and "ROM Expansion". You can check out this awesome instrument on the reFX homepage. What about the track itself? An ambient boom introduces the track pushing you into a long, atmospheric, dreamy, and emotional intro lasting roughly a minute and a half. A powerful delayed, echoing piano melody accompanied by a rythmic lead continue to carry you into the track that build up for the main chorus starting two and a half minutes into the track. I'd say that the structure, melody, and atmosphere of this track is a prime example of the "Imphenzia Sound". When I started making music I always tried to sound like some other artist that I really like but I never really succeeded. Now, however, I'm happy that I never did because it's grown into my own style. Hopefully one day I'll be able to offer my mp3 tracks for download and become popular and well known like Blank & Jones, Infected Mushroom, BT, Ayla, Paul Miller, and all the rest.
